In addition, our network is built on a non-blocking switching fabric, so that customers never receive a busy signal.

Unlike typical CLECs, which offer channelized T-1 circuits interconnected only at congested ILEC tandems, O1 provisions trunks in each LATA, directly to each end office with trunks overflowing to the tandem offices. This allows us access to higher quality 64k-clear-data access lines resulting in faster connections with improved clarity. End office trunking allows us much more flexibility in augmenting our network and allows us to monitor network performance based on true demands.

Our advanced network design integrates Lucent® Technology's hardware and software with the SS7 network to create a data traffic bypass that routes ISP data traffic away from the ILEC's central office switch and over our dedicated digital network. We deploy state-of-the-art Lucent and Cisco equipment in each market, utilizing fully redundant SS7 bypass switching technology.
