O1's SIP Origination service allows calls originating from the public switched telephone network (PSTN) to access service providers through O1's IP Network using direct inward dial (DID) numbers. O1 can provide local DIDs to 98% of California rate centers.

Calls originating from the PSTN are aggregated to a single point of interconnection and delivered to enhanced service providers via TDM (DS-Y-OCX). Calls are converted to data packets in O1's network and delivered via SIP.
